The Chaos god Therian creates his Chaos wolves in a bloody ritual where the god replaces the chosen one’s soul with one of his Chaos souls. Therian’s (and hereby all his worshippers’) ultimate goal is a wish to dominate all of Néveri’s kingdoms and creatures. A goal which can only be achieved by corrupting as many different creatures in Morania as possible, so they will begin to worship Therian so much, that the god will be able to appear permanently in the physical world. If that happens he will appear as “the master of the hunt” or simply “the hunter” where he will be the huge predator, and every creature in Néveri will be his prey.

Therian has other goals, but this is the only one described in the Chaos prophecy. Until Therian has achieved full physical contact with Néveri he will only be capable of taking over chosen bodies for a brief period. If the body is killed, Therian will be thrown back into The nothingness, where he will have to start over gathering power to return. That is why it is rare for Therian to possess a body. Chaos gods do not have a permanent gender and it is therefore wrong to think of them as simply male or female. Until now, Therian has been spotted in three different bodies. One male black-blood (darkelf), one old human man, and a young human boy. From this we can conclude that this Chaos god prefers to possess a male body.
