Tharqauin Mathazar Delo'Thair This highelf is one of the eldest creatures known to exist. He has even experienced the war of the gods. As one of the eldest in the world, he carries unfathomable amount of knowledge, but he does not deem Man, or the other races that surrounds them, fit for this wisdom. He remembers Man, and their actions throughout the war of the gods, and they have proven that they were not strong enough to handle such knowledge then, and he will not share his knowledge until this changes. Tharqauin was crowned King by general consent, and he ruled for three years. After this period, angry voices was uttered, urging the King to make a council to rule the town. Tharqauin was not hungry for power and thus consented to this request. Tharqauin himself is not a direct member of the council, but he is always present at their precedings and is always allowed to speak his mind, as are any and all who seek permission to be present from the normal population. Even though Tharqauin is not a part of the council, he and his family is still seen as the dormant rulers of Correntain. With his timeless love, Aiyona, and their somewhat reckless daughter, Eyrea they live for the people, even though they do not govern it any longer. Tharqauin is highly respected amongst his people and respects his people equally back. He was a just king, and only wishes his people the best. He, the council, and their fellow highborns, does not deem Man pathetic or weak, but rather not able to handle the knowledge he and his people possess. To the untrained eye, Tharqauin can seem strict and arrogant. But his actions are bound in love for all creatures, and he and his people is one of the few who understands the consequences of too much knowledge. His daily life is spent guiding and inspire his people, and through them, the fate of Morania. If the council did not govern the highborn, he would be considered the true king of Morania, but this is a title he would never be so bold as to assume himself.
